Experience a real gastronomic adventure in the Đerdap gorge! Try dishes prepared from ingredients exclusively produced by small local producers, wild herbs, Danube fish and the famous Miroč aged cheese (škripavac).

Special planning and organization is required for the preparation of our dishes, so it is necessary to call in advance to agree on the date, number of guests, type of dish, whether there are certain food allergies and similar specifics. We can adapt our dishes to different needs: fasting, keto diet, gluten-free diet, vegetarian, vegan, raw food, etc.

Our gastronomic mission is to present and offer you the authentic dishes of this climate and which make this region different from others. That's why you can try only a few unique dishes here. Ingreedients we use follow seasonality trend.

Magic herbs of mountain Miroč

The most important food ingredient in the Đerdap and Miročki regions is the meadow herbs. It makes the Miroč meadow honey so recognizable and high-quality, then the cheeses of the Miroč region, which are obtained from the milk of animals that graze from the local meadows, and finally, the quality and taste that only the meat of domestic animals and game has, is all thanks to the magical herbs of the Miroč mountain and the Đerdap Gorge region in general. Also, the gluten-free corn flour that we use for proje and kačamak is produced from the ancient autochthonous Osmak corn variety that does not require chemical treatment.

Miroč cheese

The Miročki region is known for a large number of different types of cheese: young (urda), bareni skripavac, goat young and old, sheep old.
Unlike classic white cheeses, Miročki does not melt in a pan and grill, it is similar to Cypress halloumi cheese. It gets a crispy crust on the grill and a golden yellow color after frying.
